No Tolerance For Tyranny June 16, 2013 at 05:13 pm
Additionally: of course Federal Courts will be in bias agreement with federal law- the key is theRead More first word... FEDERAL. Furthermore, states CAN regulate how the 2nd Amendement is adopted- look at New Jersey as an example: Nationally we have the right to keep & bear arms, but the Commonwealth of NJ has a strict enforcement whereas citizens must first apply for a permit to simply PURCHASE a handgun. 9 out of 10 residents in New Jersey are then denied a permit to carry that weapon because their profession doesn't warrant it in the State's eyes... That in itself is an infringement yet the FEDERAL government doesn't have the ability to INTERCEDE

If you still believe 2nd Amendment rights are for hunting, or target shooting, or evenRead More self-protection … then I have about 170 million reasons why you are wrong! Gun control works, it works all too well. Mao Ze-Dong (China) 49-78,000,000. Adolf Hitler (Germany) 12,000,000. Leopold II of Belgium (Congo) 8,000,000. Jozef Stalin (USSR) 6,000,000. Hideki Tojo (Japan) 5,000,000. Ismail Enver (Turkey) 2,500,000. Pol Pot (Cambodia) 1,700,000. Kim Il Sung (North Korea) 1.6 million... . . . Protect the 2nd Amendment – the life you save may be your own!

Here's a pretty good criteria for tyranny: when an agent for the people and the states assume totalRead More control over those which created it. "I'm talking about the fact that federal courts have repeatedly held that under the Constitution, federal law is controlling over state law. States simply do not have the power to nullify federal law." See how I answered your question with your own words?

Anyone on here take part in the search for him. My family did, for seven hours and that is how IRead More know the out come. I am not at liberty to release details as I have yet to see it was released and I respect that fact. Cheis you are exactly right obviously the family is not ready to disclose all details yet.

This law forms a committee to further study and spend our time and money studying the issue. ThisRead More law does NOT provide any additional education money it merely spends more money studying where and how much money might be thrown down the broken public school funding and distribution system that's bankrupting Pennsylvania's property owners.

In many school districts, like mine, taxpayers are already on the hook for one teacher's assistantRead More for every one special education student. ... Non - special education class sizes are 12 students to every one teacher. To "Educate" approximately 5300 students, it's costing taxpayers about $94,000,000. a year. .... guess my children have been in the system illegally too.

Seems to me the issue is that the parent doesn't have a utility bill or mortgage/rental agreementRead More because she lives with the author. That stands to reason. When I moved to the district, prior to settlement, I had to bring the agreement of sale to show I was purchasing a home in the district. Any school district requires proof that the parent lives in the district and no, a driver's license doesn't count. What if you moved and never changed your address on your license? And if we required teachers to live in the district they teach in can you imagine the teacher shortages in some districts? Woud you also require them to move if they got a job in another district closeby?
Tired of Hypocrisy June 15, 2013 at 08:02 am
When my children were registered, a copy of the child's birth certificate, an immunization recordRead More from the pediatrician and a valid drivers license (prior to photo drivers licenses) were all that was required. Perhaps the newer requirements were put in place to insure the child lives within the district's boundaries. There have been examples in other townships were it was found children from outside the district were attending schools that their parents did not pay taxes in. I have no problem with a parent proving they reside within a specific district. I do have a problem with a School Board member who imposed her will in order for her grandchild to begin kindergarten when the child had not reached the specified age. Of course, that is a different story, some can get around the State regulations and others cannot. Sorry your daughter is feeling as if she is jumping through hoops, but rules are rules, unless you are a CSB member.
