Nativity of Our Lord School recently re-instated its popular First in Math Program, an online program to reinforce student math skills that allows students to compete for points to become the high performer or high class each week. This popular program was in jeopardy of being eliminated at the beginning of the school year due to budget constraints.
Concerned parents who wanted to help stepped forward to offer two area fundraisers to cover the cost of the program. Ann and Eric Borell, owners of Love It Frozen Yogurt in Jamison conducted a weekend fundraiser that donated all the proceeds on customer orders who presented a fundraiser coupon. In addition, the Borells asked former Nativity school parents, Chris and Tony Giaimo of Giuseppe's in Richboro for help as well. Giuseppe's in Richboro sponsored a one night fundraiser for the program as well. Between the two fundraisers and some additional private donations, the program has been paid for in full and with other donations offered by individuals, Contract Pharmacy Services and Hector Guerra of Pizza Plaza, Warrington Pizza and Bucks Bagels, new math books were also purchased for the 6th grade students. Nativity of Our Lord Students and Administrators offer a big THANK YOU to these generous donors for their help in saving this popular and important program!!
