Greater Jamison Business Association Partners With Local Businesses to Bring Warmth To The Community

More than 200 coats donated to Warm at Heart Coat Drive

(JAMISON, Pa.) – The Greater Jamison Business Association partnered with area businesses and the Central Bucks School District to collect donations of clean, gently used coats in all sizes for the school district’s annual “Warm at Heart” coat drive.

More than 200 coats were collected by 22 participating businesses and organizations including: TD Bank, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County, Huntingdon Valley Bank, Parcels Plus, East/West Karate, Leaps n Bounds, 1^st National Bank and Trust of Newtown, Action Karate, Spring Dance Spa & Hot Tub, Raymond James – Robert Fitt, Hatboro Federal Savings Bank, Bucks County Pediatrics, Sir Speedy of Warminster, Advanced Hearing Systems, Midas of Doylestown, BoxIt, Liberty Fencing Club, Warwick Township, Solful Chiropractic, Star Lawnmower, New Life Church and Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Marlene Greenberg, RN, MSN, and project manager for “Warm at Heart” credits the success of the coat drive to everyone’s continued commitment to the coat collection project. Said Greenberg, “Thanks to the efforts and dedication of people throughout our community, the coat collection project continues to grow bigger and more successful in each passing year.”

Local families in need of coats had an opportunity to “shop” for a free coat for each family member earlier this month at Lenape Middle School in Doylestown, Pa. All extra coats will be donated to organizations and agencies throughout the Philadelphia area that have come to rely on the “Warm at Heart” collection drive to assist them in providing for families in need of life’s basic necessities.
