Bomb Threat at Tennent Determined Non-Credible
Police are questioning a person of interest related to the threat, and classes resumed on Monday with added police presence.
Warminster police combed the grounds of William Tennent Sunday night after an e-mail to school administrators indicated a bomb threat at the high school.
No devices have been found, and investigators are questioning a person of interest. Police determined that the e-mail was a non-credible threat and school officials allowed classes to resume as scheduled Monday morning.
"Rest assured that I would not have permitted faculty, staff, or students to enter the building if there were any reason for alarm," Centennial Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Cressman wrote in a statement. "The Warminster Police are to be commended for how quickly and decisively they acted upon being notified."
