Full Power Restoration Could Take up to a Week, PECO Says

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, PECO has said that it may take up to a week to restore power to the area.

 

It may take up to a week to fully restore power to the Bucks County area, according to PECO.

More than 850,000 customers are without power, which makes Hurricane Sandy the most damaging storm in the company's history. Of the 850,000 affected customers, more than 8,000 are in Warminster.

As of Tuesday evening, two-thirds of Warminster Township customers did not have power, including the administration building and several schools in the Centennial School District.

On Tuesday morning, Patch readers took to Facebook to report outages throughout the various sections of the community.

PECO is asking customers to call 1-800-841-4141 to report a power outage.
