Gas Prices Decline Slightly

Find the cheapest gas in Warminster.

Drivers in every state are paying more at the pump than a month ago; however, Pennsylvania drivers are beginning to get some relief, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report.

Gas prices in the state have dropped 3.4 cents from a week ago and 3.5 cents in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. With “spot” gasoline prices (gasoline sold for immediate payment and delivery) also dropping dramatically across the country, it is likely that retail prices will continue to fall in the coming days, the report states. These recent declines and the fact that the national retail average has fallen below the year-ago price supports AAA’s prediction that gas prices will peak this spring at a lower level than recent years.

Locally, the average price for a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Bucks and Montgomery is $3.744, down 3.5 cents since last week, 7.4 cents higher than a month ago and 2.8 cents lower than a year ago.

In Pennsylvania, the average price of self-serve gasoline is now $3.765 per gallon.

Nearby, the cheapest price for regular is $3.63 per gallon at the Sunoco at Street and Davisville Roads.
