The average price of self-serve regular in Pennsylvania dropped nearly 10 cents in a month, and about 4 cents since last week, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report.
In the Bucks and Montgomery Counties, the average price of a gallon is $3.601 per gallon, which is 3.5 cents lower than a week ago, 9.7 cents lower than a month ago and 24.7 cents higher than a year ago.
While national retail gas prices have declined each day during the past week, crude oil prices have increased slightly, as market attention has focused on the impact of the looming U.S. fiscal cliff, the report states. That means though gas prices usually decline this time of year, the economic uncertainty has slowed that decline..
Locally, the cheapest price for regular is $3.50 at the Giant gas station at 720 W. Street Rd., Quality Gas at 288 York Rd., and U.S. Gas at 228 E. Street Rd.

Last week I bought gas in Ohio for $3.32 a gallon. It's not as cheap as it could be in PA. The reason we pay high prices is because in Ohio, when gas goes up, people stop driving, they car pool, they use public transportation. Here in SE PA when gas goes up, we get in line to buy more.
