A crisp but sunny December weekend lies ahead. In addition to all the holiday shopping, there are plenty of options for you to get out and enjoy.
Where/when: William Tennent High School, 333 Centennial Rd, Warminster, Saturday, 9 a.m.
Why go: A morning of food, fun, games, songs, crafts all capped off by a visit with Santa.
Proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association.
Cost: $4
Where/when: Craven Hall Historical Society, 599 Newtown Rd, Warminster, Sunday at noon
Why go: The open house will feature open hearth cooking demonstrations as well as story-time and special activities for children, plus interpreters in period costumes conducting tours of the historic building.

Where/when: Hatboro Baptist Church, 32 N York Rd, Hatboro, Saturday, 5 p.m.
Why go: The event includes a live nativity on the front lawn, photographs with Father Christmas, fun Christmas crafts for kids to make, colonial period music with authentic instruments, Christmas skits, and seasonal refreshments

Where/when: Lehman Memorial United Methodist Church, 300 S York Rd, Hatboro, Saturday, 7:30 p.m.
Why go: "Night of Alleluias” is a worshipful Christmas musical. It is full of Christmas favorites, best-loved praise and worship choruses and a host of incredible new songs. Choirs, band, orchestra, and multimedia set the mood for an entertaining and thought provoking holiday experience for the whole family.

Where/when: Playwicki Farm, 2350 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville Trevose, Saturday, 11 a.m.
Why go: Children will walk along trails to find as many candy canes as they can. Children will also enjoy making a holiday craft and decorating holiday cookies. Santa will also make a surprise visit.

Where/when: Bensalem Library, 3700 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, Saturday, 10 a.m.
Why go: This drop in program is for all levels. Teen volunteers are available to teach the game of chess.

Where/when: Fallsington United Methodist Church, 50 Lacrosse St # Fa, Levittown, Saturday, 11:30 a.m.
Why go: Price includes Hot Dog, Chips, Drink and dessert, Suzie the Clown, Face Painting, Picture with Santa and Letter to and from Santa.

SANTA AT THE CHRISTMAS COTTAGE
Where/when: W State St & N Hamilton St, Doylestown, Friday & Saturday, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Why go: Visit Santa in downtown Doylestown in his very own Christmas Cottage, which was made by the Middle Bucks Vo Tech School Carpentry Department in 1985. Santa will be in his house and ready to listen to the children's wishes and take photos.

Where/when: North & Southampton Reformed Church, 1380 Bristol Rd, Southampton, Saturday, 10 a.m.
Why go: The event will feature toy trail layouts, groups and exhibits, live music, face painting and a visit with Santa. All proceeds will benefit the restoration of the historic Southampton Railroad Station.
