Morning Fire Closes Street Road Gas Station
The Shell Gas Station was closed Thursday morning after a fire smoked out the convenience store.

Reports came in Thursday morning of a fire at the Shell Gas Station at 400 W. Street Road. After emergency crews put the blaze out inside the convenience store, the station had to be closed.
As of 9:30 a.m., the doors are blocked, keeping a heavy, smokey odor inside the building, and all of the pumps are turned off.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
