Nov. 15: Township Budget Process Begins

Here's five things you should know today.

 

Township Manager Rich Manfredi will present the preliminary 2013 budget to the Warminster Board of Supervisors tonight at 7 p.m. in the administration building.

Fallen Plymouth Police officer Bradley Fox's K-9 partner, Nick, was officially retired and transferred to Fox's wife and child at a Plymouth Township Council meeting Monday night, Patch reports.

Mostly sunny today with a high of 49, according to the National Weather Service.

A group of Papa John's customers have filed a class action lawsuit against the pizza corporation as well as a handful of Papa John's franchisees for unsolicited text messages, ABC News reports. Last Friday, U.S. District Court Judge in Seattle John Coughenour certified the nationwide class action case against Papa John's International for damages the plaintiffs say could reach over $250 million.

On this day, November 15, 1969, in Columbus, Ohio, Dave Thomas opens the first Wendy's restaurant.

Great to hear that Brad's K9, Nick, finally made it home to be with the wife and kids. Now he can R.I.P. knowing his family is being watched over.
