Oct. 12: County Line Closing at Railroad Crossing Tonight

Five things you should know today.

 
  • Here's a friendly reminder that County Line will be closed at the Warminster Rail crossing starting tonight at 7 p.m. until 4 a.m. Monday morning.
  • The Fright Gallery Haunted Village opens tonight at the 263 Marketplace, from 5 to 8 p.m., then Sat. 3 to 6 p.m. and Sun. 2 to 5 p.m.
  • Partly sunny today, with a high near 58, according to the National Weather Service.
  • Starting January 27, the price of a first-class stamp will increase one cent to 46 cents, the Postal Service announced to CNN. Postcard postage will rise one cent as well, to 33 cents.
  • On this day, October 12, 1901, President Theodore Roosevelt officially renames the "Executive Mansion" to the White House.
