Me too Kurt - I try to stay off of Street Road because of how dangerous it is. I will keep the rider and his family in my prayers.

The sad news is that this was my friend who died. A wonderful person and a great father to two young children. All due to a freak accident by an elderly person not paying attention and driving on the wrong side of the road. His family and friends miss him tremendously.

These motorcyle accidents are getting all to common. Does anyone have a count on how many have been killed on Street Rd. alone?? I know in southampton there have been at least 3 fatalities on Street Rd.

Should there not be a skills test administered from the DMV, for elderly drivers to make sure their driving is still up to passing standards? Some older drivers do just fine while operating a motor vehicle, and that is fine, it's the ones that think they do! Prayers for this family! One of the boys riding with them is a friend of mind! So glad you are okay! M davis statesville North Carolina

If your 85 you should not be on the road, period. They should set an example with a strict prison sentence. Seniors get away with way too much, when in reality all they do is increase the burden on tax payers.
