Police Arrest Suspect in Multiple Pharmacy Robberies
Peter Romagano, 27, of the 2700 block of Stanwood Lane, and charged him with two armed robberies.
On Jan. 5, Bensalem police arrested Peter Romagano, 27, of the 2700 block of Stanwood Lane, and charged him with two armed robberies that occurred in Bensalem. Charges are forthcoming in Lower Southampton and Warminster for a robbery in each jurisdiction.
A joint investigation between Bensalem, Lower Southampton, Warminster and the DEA Diversion Unit lead to the capture of Romagano.
In all four robberies, Romagano is alleged to have entered the pharmacies, displayed a Bowie style knife and demanded prescription medications.
On Oct. 25, Romagano entered the Belmont Pharmacy 3571 Hulmeville Road, jumped over the counter and confronted the owners of the Pharmacy. He stole numerous bottles of prescription medications and fled the store.
On Nov. 2, he entered Gary’s Pharmacy, 33 East Street Rd, Lower Southampton, pulled out the same style knife and stole numerous bottles of prescription medications.
On Nov. 21, he entered Belmont Pharmacy a second time and stated to the owners “I’m back.” He then ran around the counter and stole numerous bottles of prescription medications and fled the store.
Later, on Nov. 21, Romagano entered Maxwell’s Pharmacy, 375 West Street Road, Warminster, pulled out the knife and stated he needed drugs and demanded Adderall and Suboxine. The actor then stole four bottles medications.
He was video arraigned by Judge Roth and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $200,000.
