Police Investigating Possible Child Luring Attempt

A statement released by the Warminster Police says that a boy was approached by a man driving a white box truck Saturday evening.

Warminster Police responded Saturday evening at 6 p.m. to the 400 block of Fir St. for a report of an attempted luring.

The victim, a young boy, told police that while riding his bike to a friend's house (near Sunnemeade Ave), a small white box truck approached him. The driver of the vehicle told the boy to “come over and get in my truck.” The victim describes the operator as a 50-year-old white man with grey hair and wearing a blue shirt.

When the boy continued to ride his bike, the subject followed him while honking his horn the entire way.

Anyone who may have any information regarding this incident is urged to contact the Warminster Police Department at (215) 672-1000 or (215) 443-5000.
