With more than 40 volunteers both inside and outside the town borders, the Ivyland Fire Company boasts one of the quickest response times in Bucks County, according to Chief Jeff McCallister. One of the secrets to their success is the weekly training exercises the crew conducts every Monday night at a neraby office park.

WarminsterPatch and Metra4.com were invited to check out what goes into one of their training sessions.

All of the area fire departments are always looking for more able-bodied volunteers. For the Ivyland Fire Company, call (215) 675-9333. For the Warminster Fire Department, call (215) 675-4691. And, for the Hartsville fire Company, call (215) 672-9242.
