REMEMBER 5K WALK/RUN

Where/when: Archbishop Wood, 655 York Rd., Warminster, Saturday, registration starts at 9:30 a.m., race begins at 11 a.m.

Why go: All proceeds benefit the Rich Kelly Fund, named in honor of a former physical education teacher at Wood who died in 2010. The school's homecomeing Vikingfest follows the race at 1 p.m., with food, games and live music from the John Byrne Band.

Cost: $30 to run, free to attend ($25 to attend Vikingfest)

17TH ANNUAL CROOKED BILLET 5K RUN

Where/when: Warminster Community Park, 300 Veterans Cir, Saturday at 9 a.m.

Why go: The entire family can enjoy a fun-filled fall morning, while supporting early American history education.

Cost: Free to attend, $15 to run

RAINBOW ACADEMY FALL FESTIVAL

Where/when: Rainbow Academy for Little Scholars, 226 Grenoble Rd., Ivyland, Saturday from 10 a.m to noon.

Why go: Come and visit the farm, tour classrooms and pick a pumpkin.

Cost: Free

OKTOBERFEST AT ST. ROBERT'S

Where/when: St. Robert's Church, 856 Euclid Ave., Warrington, Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.

Why go: Enjoy lots of food, games, live entertainment, bingo and more.

Cost: Free to attend

OPEN HOUSE CHARITY FUNDRAISER

Where/when: East West Karate, 330 York Rd., Warminster, Saturday from 11 to 2:30 p.m.

Why go: This communitty service event will include music, games, fire trucks, moon bounce, dunk tank, demo team performances, kid-safe classes, karate board breaking, parent/child classes, food and drink, and much much more! All proceeds go to the Warminster Fire Department.

Cost: Free to attend

GRANT'S GLADIATORS FLAPJACK FUNDRAISER

Where/when: Applebee's, 1745 S. Easton Rd., Doylestown, Sunday from 8 to 10 a.m.

Why go: Enjoy a short stack of pancakes and support a great cause.

Cost: $7 per person
