Weekend Planner: Easter Weekend

Any plans for the weekend?

 

We have a favorable forecast for Easter weekend, so get out there and enjoy. Here are some options.

MAKE AN EASTER BASKET

Where/when: Historic Moland House, 1641 Old York Rd, Hartsville, Sunday at 1 p.m.

Why go: Enjoy your Easter Sunday by trying your hand at making an Easter basket.

Cost: Free

OUTDOOR ART SHOW

Where/when: Main Street Baptist Church, 59 S Main St, Doylestown, 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m

Why go: As part of the First Friday festivities, come enjoy an outdoor art show.

Cost: Free

COMMUNITY EGG HUNT

Where/when: North & Southampton Reformed Church, 1380 Bristol Rd, Southampton, Saturday at 1 p.m.

Why go: Games, face painting and refreshments, oh, and an egg hunt! Festivities start at 1 p.m., hunt starts at 1:20 p.m.

Cost: Free

HORSHAM EASTER EGG HUNT

Where/when: Deep Meadow Park, Horsham, Saturday at 2 p.m.

Why go: Open to all children ages 8 and under.  No pre-registration is required; simply show up that day with a basket to collect your eggs! One grand prizewinner in each age group.  The Easter Bunny will also be there to pose for photos and meet with the children. Please dress children appropriately as the fields can be muddy.

Cost: Free

FALLS TWP. EGG HUNT

Where/when: Falls Township Community Park, 9125 Millcreek Rd, Levittown, Saturday at 2 p.m.

Why go: Rescheduled due to bad weather – remember to bring your basket!

Cost: Free

SATURDAY MORNING JAZZERCISE

Where/when: Neshaminy Activity Center, 1842 Brownsville Rd, Feasterville Trevose, Saturday at 8:15 a.m.

Why go: Get your morning off to an energizing start!

Cost: Free
