Winner: Best Park in Warminster
The top pick in this week's poll won in a landslide.
In a not-very-surprising result, Warminster Community Park was the readers' choice this week for the township's best park. Built on the former site of the Naval Air Development Center, the 243-acre park earned 57 percent of the 102 votes cast.
With a dog park, large playground, a brand new Safetytown, open space and walking trails, it has just about everything. On the other hand, there are a few things second place Kemper Park has that makes it a viable alternative, including a baseball field, shadier trees and the Neshaminy Creek running through, in case you want to take the kids fishing.
Be sure to check out next week's poll when we ask Patch users to vote for which restaurant serves the best spaghetti and meatballs.
