Lost Dog in Warminster...Family grieving...Have you seen CHESTY?

Warminster area friends: PLEASE keep your eyes open for Chesty! Contact info is below if you spot him. Thank You!!!

POSTING FOR A FRIEND.  CHILDREN GRIEVING!
The O'Donnell family's precious fur baby ran away on Friday 11/16, and he's still not back. His name is Chesty and he's a rat terrier beagle. He's mostly black with a white belly and some brown. If any one in the Warminster area has any information at all please call ELLEN O'DONNELL at 215-672-1296 or call or text HER at 215-620-7219. They love him and miss him and just want him home. Please keep your eyes open while you're out. Lost in the vicinity of Bristol and Mearns Rd. in Warminster.
Keep your eyes open because as we all know dogs have been known to travel pretty far without knowing which way they are going.  He could be anywhere by now!

Thanks

Has anyone called any local vet offices? Also was wondering I can see the pup has a harness on. Does he have tags?

Is he found yet? How about calling animal patrol?

I don't know if he has tags. He's not mine. He has not been found and they have called animal control and every other organization as far as I know.
Keep your eyes peeled for him! thanks!

We have called everyone we can think of including SPCA, animal control, vet offices, police stations, etc. He does have tags on and one has our phone number on it.

I work at a vet hospital and will keep an eye out for him. Does he have a microchip implanted?

Keep giving those animal shelters and the police at all neighboring areas a call every other day or so. Sometimes all the employees aren't aware that a family is looking for their dog and the inquiry gets overlooked. Just be that squeaky pleasant wheel so they keep an extra eye out.
Is there anything I can do to help? I've been out about 3 times looking in your area with no luck but I am more than willing to go out and look again.
My heart is broken for your family and I'm praying as hard as I can.
Please keep us posted.

dogs are very intelligent, so keep your head up, they can find their way home for about 4 miles. I am sending my prayers and keeping my eyes open.

We still haven't found Chesty. He had his ID on so even if he was in an accident someone could contact us. He must be in a house or a kennel somewhere. I want to thank everyone who is trying to help us find our little dog.

WBCB just posted this on its Facebook page. Could this be your dog?
FOUND:
A male Jack Russell terrier was found last night (11/26) in the Crabtree section of Levittown. He is wearing a collar. If you are his owner, please call 267-229-5468.

It is not Chesty. We called and the dog has been claimed by its owner. Thank you for posting!

I spent sometime looking in that area this morning before I started for work. I didn't see him. But thank you for the information.

Someone contacted me and said they saw Chesty in Twin Streams, near Boyd and Twin Streams. I drove around this morning but did not see him. Please keep an eye out for him. Thank you.

Chesty is still missing. There is a $100 reward for Chesty's safe return, no questions asked.

I can't believe he hasn't been found. It is so odd especially since he has tags! I hope you find him!

May I recommend putting more signs out or bigger ones up. Especially in the areas he's been spotted in. The printer paper sized signs on telephone poles are always so hard to see, especially if they get wet and the ink runs. Also the pictures while going through lights or even when sitting next to them are hard to see quickly and sadly most people dont even look. The only sign I've seen was at the light by the post office on Mearns...and thanks to the patch I was already aware that it was Chesty's lost sign. I'll continue to keep an eye out, I hope you find him soon. I have 2 beagles so just seeing his little face makes me extra sad.

I thought you could deliver flyers to the neighborhood where he's been seen. Any recent sightings?

We haven't had any recent sightings. We still look for him every day. I will put out all weather signs in a few days and post them at intersections in Warminster and surrounding communities. We believe someone has kept Chesty and are either ignoring his contact info or his collar may have come off. Please keep an eye open for a neighbor, friend or relative that may have a "new" dog. Thank you to everyone who is helping.

Chesty is still not home. We have had tremendous support from the Warminster and surrounding communities, but to no avail. Please continue to keep an eye out for him as we believe he was taken in by a well meaning person that may not use the internet or social media. Thank you!

Chesty is still out there somewhere and we continue the search daily. The "Lost Dog" signs have been taken down, but not by us. If our friends and neighbors would re-post Chesty's contact info to social media sites it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to all who have helped.

It is difficult to know what to do next. We have tried every avenue we can think of but nothing has worked to find Chesty. I can only ask that everyone still keep an eye out and re post Chesty's info to any and all social media sites. Thank you.

I haven't forgotten about your Chesty. I look for him everywhere. I can only think someone has him inside with their family. Hopefully as the weather breaks someone will see him. I think of him often and hopefully he'll be home soon.

Our last "Lost Dog" sign was taken down from Dautcher's farm property at the corner of Mearns and Ivyland. Judy gave me her permission to have the sign there and I don't know why someone would target Chesty's sign to remove. The sign was in the ground and not attached to the electric pole. It is disappointing. We just want our dog back.

John someone messaged me yesterday and asked me why all Chesty's signs were gone from the area. They thought perhaps Chesty had been found. Sadly I told them Chesty was still not home.
Now with spring coming more and more people are out and about. More and more folks take to walking their dogs and surely someone who may have taken sweet Chesty in might have been able to see them or someone else might spot him!
I'll try to get his photo out there again on FB and keep on reminding folks that we still need to bring Chesty home!
I am so very sorry that your family is still missing your fur baby!

I would appreciate any ideas to get Chesty back home. We have tried everything we can think of and have spent money in an attempt to have someone take notice of our little guy. We are very, very frustrated. Thanks for all who have been looking for Chesty!

There is a post on the Warminster Patch of a lost dog who looks very similar to Chesty. You may want to check it out.

Jim, thanks for the heads up. I didn't even see the story until you posted. Warwick took the dog to Warminster's kennels. Such a nice looking, scared pup, but not Chesty. I hope they all find their way home soon. Also, thank you to Ms. Mohan for re-posting Chesty's information in the Patch. Any and all help is appreciated.

Chesty turned 2 yesterday. Please continue to look for him. I believe he is still in the area and in someone's home. They have to take him out at some point so please contact me if you see a dog that fits his description. Thank you!
