School Pictures: You May Not Get What You Pay For
While most do not know this, and believe me I only found this out the other night, parents are going to be somewhat irritated when they receive substitute items for specific items they have chosen for school pictures.
I was enlighted to this after one parent received a call from another, who heard this from another, get my point. I decided to go to the source and get the story. So parents, the company who is handling pictures will not be selling everything on the list, and they have chosen not to inform the people ahead of time.
Their response is, "We will just substitute items," which will be their choice of items, not yours!
The other thing, parents, there will not be any class photos in your packet! The picture will be taken but the company does not give them to the parents. This is not fair to parents, it is bad business practices, and most of all it's just downright wrong.
The children look forward to having the class photo so in years to come they can remember their friends. Parents you're paying a lot for these photos, so why not get what your paying for! Now people I suggest you all get in touch with the school, the company, whomever, and get what you are paying for.

Last year the class photo was free however this year it didn't say that anywhere so I emailed the company and they said to write it down but it wasn't free this year. I paid my 6 dollar extra for it and now I guess a bunch of parents complained because tonight I get an email saying that the are free and now I have to call the customer service line to get my refund. What a pain.

Disney Girl that is fantastic! See when i spoke to the company they told me they were not including it, they also said that some of the items which are listed are not available and if people order them they will substitute without even asking. I am very happy that someone got the picture back! Good luck with the 6 bucks, I would start now...lol

That would be the Administration and School Board who hire the photographer. Need we say more....It's not about the children anymore.

Well ladies I called the company this morning and since I had already sent the envelope in I now have to bug her teacher to see if she still has it so I can change it. If she doesn't have it then I have to call the company back next week to see if they can then do it. The lady on the phone said originally it wasn't included but the school changed it and the company wasn'tnotified until this past Friday. That is what I get for not procrastinating.
