LOTS of us got our May PECO bill late...the day after the June one, in fact. And not just PECORead Morebills , but other mailings as well. It just may have been a postal issue! After several complaints, I was told by the local postmaster via a phone call that "downtown" was VERY aware and were 'investigating'. I was also told I should be receiving an apology letter from 'downtown' shortly. That was 3 weeks ago....(maybe it'll be w/ the Christmas cards? ;-)

There is a difference between the School Board and the Township and this is important to anyRead Morediscus sion of funding. We should avoid the mix of apples and oranges on this one. The Township doesn't control the School taxes and the loss of the WREC is because of the School Boards and Townships failures to work together with a sincere purpose for the taxpayers. The Schools are governed by Directors elected from two separate Townships. The need for a WREC building is evident to all and the costs of keeping the old one properly in repair were not feasible under the past agreements. The use of Grant money for this is worthy of full debate and questioning as this is a public and charity combination of purposes and may not give the Township full say in just how this Building is used. Agreements on this issue are worthy of a study by a panel of citizen's, overseers of the Y and the Township Government and attorneys.

Just wait and see when the CSB bankrupts the township and pension cannot be paid due to lack ofRead Moremone y which will probably happen soon are taxes can only be raised so much. need to get rid of them all and start fresh with a board that knows how to manage funds.

The Centernnial School Board is not the Township. The CSB is a different political body is theRead Morepo int I am making. If you only vote one out the other remains in place. Thus, if you want lower school taxes you must deal with CSB. If you want to deal with zoning the lands that CSB sold then you must deal with the Township Zoning.

Everyone enjoys fireworks and nobody cares until you bother the neighbors or someone gets hurt. I'm Read Moresure it's 4th of July excitement You might explain that to him PGA code is 100 ft distance from a structure for each inch of tube size ( mortar). Most consumer fireworks are 2 inch max., so 200 ft is "safe". If he's startling the dog or keeping u awake, just ask him politely. After that, have the police ask him politely !

MostRead Moreconsum er fireworks are 2 inch max., so 200 ft is "safe" -the lots in this development are 1/2 acre which is 100 x200 so the structures are less than 100 ft apart -area is less than your safe distance. "Everyone enjoys fireworks and nobody cares until you bother the neighbors or someone gets hurt."I guess it doesn't matter that it is illegal as long as he can enjoy himself!BG where do you live? I will send him there to detonate his consumer fireworks. You seem to support this activity in spite of the law.

if they are not legal then the stores and those who sit in parking lots should not be permitted toRead Mores ell them! Yes people do like fireworks, if they weren't sold in the stores then there wouldn't be issues because those shooting them off would have had to get them out of the state which also is not legal!

If they are concerned about space they should be leaving tickets for parents to pick up and showRead MoreID. Only the parents should be going to graduation if that is the case. Thats how it was for graduation of Archbishop Ryan. Divorced or separated parents each got one ticket.

wasn't the buyer some how connected to the contractor and company that built the high school??. CSB Read Moremaking deals behind closed doors.Hopefully the township won't grant a variance to builder make them put in single family homes. And hold CSB accountable for there actions.
