The William Tennent Marching Band has been invited to play during halftime at the Russell Athletic Boiwl in Orlando on Dec. 28, followed by an appearance the next day during the Universal Macy's holiday parade. The band will host a send-off performance on Thursday, Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. before packing up the instruments and gear for the trip. The Bucks Mont Art League has changed its meeting locations, from the Warminster Library to the VFW on Louis Drive. The move is effective January 16, 2013. The Centennial Operations Committee passed a motion that proposes delaying the move from the old McDonald Elementary to the newly constructed building. Instead of making the transition in March, during the district's spring break, administration wil begin making the move once the school year ends in June. For the second consecutive year, the students at Nativity of Our Lord School have contributed to a cause that raises awareness and funds research for prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. Initiated in 2011 by music teacher, Dan Myers, who has a personal family connection to this cause, students held a dress down day and contributed their donations in exchange for wearing their best moustache in the annual Movember Moustache Day event.  Moustaches of all shapes, sizes and material arrived at school that day competing for best moustache in their grade.
