Tour begins from the Anechoic Chamber at 300 E. Bristol Road, Warminster.
Entrance will be from the Penn State gate on Bristol Road
The staff at the Penn State Anechoic Chamber will present an informative talk on the early work done at the Navy’s outdoor antenna test range along Bristol Road as well as inside the co-located large anechoic chamber. Photos will be available as well as an original video of how Navy fighter aircraft were lifted to be mounted upside down on the tops of the range buildings. There will be two sessions, at 10 AM and 2 PM. Space restrictions limit groups to 20 people for each time slot. Call the Warminster Parks and Recreation office at 215-443-5428 to register. Registration deadline: Nov. 2, 2012.
