DESCRIPTION:This program will teach the basics of sailing\, knowledge of 
 various types of sail boats\, terminology\, sailing skills\, rules of th
 e road\, safety\, rescues and practical experience handling a boat. It i
 s a requirement that all participants must show proof of swimming profic
 iency i.e. YMCA\, Scout\, Fanny Chapman\, School District or Red Cross c
 ertificate of completion. The staff ratio is 1:8. A practical test will 
 be given at the end with a certificate of completion. Department staff w
 ill assist with the camp.&nbsp\; Bring snacks\, beverage\, sunscreen and
  secure footwear (no flip flops). Camp takes place at&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Peace
