Bucks County Admirals Receive $5,000 Donation, Budget Vote Tonight

  • The Bucks County Admirals hockey team was presented with a $5,000 check from local non-profit Athletes Helping Athletes on Dec. 8 at the Bucks County Ice Sports Center. Led by Coach Brian Damiani, the Admirals is a team of fierce and 
  • talented ice hockey players with special needs who devote their time, talents, and energy to developing their abilities on the ice. The donation from AHA is one of several sizable donations the organization has made to the Admirals over the years, totaling more than $26,000.   • Archbishop Wood will celebrate its state championship today beginning at 1:15 p.m. There will be a parade followed by a ceremony in the auditorium at which the championship medals will be awarded. The Vikings defeated Bishop McDevitt 22-10 last Friday for their second state title in three years.
  • The Warminster Board of Supervisors will vote to adopt the proposed 2014 budget Thursday at 7 p.m. in the township municipal building.
  • Mostly sunny today, with highs near 45, according to the National Weather Service.
