Free Coffee at Wawa, Longstreth Demolition Begins

Check out what's happening today in Warminster.

  • The new Wawa at 555 Street Road in Warminster is offering customers free coffee until Nov. 17 to celebrate the store's grand opening.
  • Demolition has finally started on Longstreth Elementary. The school, located on Roberts Road, is the last building to get torn down, after Leary and Stackpole. All three properties were purchased from the Centennial School District by County Builders. Leary was demolished earlier this year, but the remnants of the building still remain in piles of rubble on the site.
  • Archbishop Wood's annual holiday craft show begins Friday at 6:30 p.m. a the high school on York Rd. The sale picks up again Saturday at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
  • The Ben Wilson Senior Center also holds a craft show and flea market Friday at 5 p.m.
  • Sunny again today, according to the National Weather Service, with temperatures going up to 60. This leads into a warm weekend with temps in the high 50s, low 60s, ending with rain and showers Sunday night into Monday.
