School Board Endorsements, Halloween Parade at Library

Check out what's happening today around Warminster.


  • The Network for Public Education, a national organization that fights to preserve and strengthen our public school system, has endorsed Michael Hartline, Betty Huf, and Jane Schrader Lynch for Centennial School District School Board. In a released statement, representatives from the NPE said, "Incumbents Hartline, Huf, and Schrader Lynch have worked together as part of the Centennial School Board to create a climate of cooperation between all of the stakeholders of the district’s schools."
  • Majestic Oaks Nursing Home, 333 Newtown Rd., invites children to its third annual trick or treating night on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. There will also be refreshments and a costume contest.
  • The Warminster Library is hosting a Halloween parade for pre-schoolers and toddlers on Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. Meet in the children's area to decorate the trick-or-treat bags, then march through the library to collect goodies from staffmembers.
