Warminster Licenses and Inspections

Warminster inspections requiring replacement of cracked sidewalks of houses for sale whilst Warminster have installed cracked sidewalks and left them there.

About a year ago Warminster built handicap ramps on every corner of our neighborhood. Six months later a neighbor was selling a home at the corner of Spruce and Gladwyn right across from the Police Station.

10 blocks of the concrete sidewalk were marked for replacement. I examined the blocks whilst waiting to put the kids on the bus and one of them was missing a corner smaller than a match pack. Another had a hairline crack in it. It certainly seemed that replacing some of these concrete blocks served no purpose but rules are rules so if that's deemed to be a safety issue, so be it. Then I noticed that the newly laid concrete ramps for the handicaped had a crack in it but this was not marked for replacement. I then noticed as I walked the dog that several of these ramps were cracked in the same place throuout the community.

I am wondering why the township contractors are not held to the same standards of safety as our own residents? Is the townships going to have these contractors come back and replace all these cracked concrete ramps or are they going to wait for the next homeowner to sell and make it their responsibility.

It certainly seems like a double standard to me
