Turn Your Christmas Upside Down
Turn Your Christmas Upside Down
CrossWay Community Church seeks to replace Christmas consumption with Christmas compassion.

What's with the upside down Christmas Tree at Easton and Mill Roads?  It is a symbol to the community that CrossWay Community Church intends to turn Christmas upside down by participating in [Advent Conspiracy] and seeks to make Christmas a world-changing event again by “spending less and giving more presence”.

Join us on Sunday at the 9am or 10:45am service, to hear Pastor Michael Saunders give the four core sermons:

*Worship Fully – because Christmas begins and ends with Jesus!

*Spend Less – and free your resources for things that truly matter.

*Give More – of your presence: your hands, your words, your time, your heart.

*Love All – the poor, the forgotten, the marginalized, and the sick in ways that make a difference.

[Advent Conspiracy] originally started in 2006 when five pastors decided to make Christmas a revolutionary event. The response was overwhelming and the Conspiracy was born.

CrossWay Community Church continues the conspiracy, encouraging attenders to partner with their iCare ministry in acts of service which include, but are not limited to -

*Adopting a Family for the Holidays – provide a Christmas meal and presents

*Provide Food for a Local Halfway House – cook or provide a Christmas meal

*Christmas Caroling – visit a local nursing home to help decorate and sing carols

*Aid for Friends – Work with AFF to separate food items & pack trays for distribution

*Pick Your Own Project – Do you know an organization or family who could use a reminder of what Christmas is all about?  Partner with a LifeGroup or a group of your friends and meet the need!

Spend Less; Give More Presence.
