MARCH 19th COLLEGE FAIR TO BRING 80 HIGHER EDUCATION REPS TO WILLIAM TENNENT HIGH SCHOOL

Parents and students are invited to attend William Tennent High School’s (WTHS) 2014 College Fair. The event offers attendees opportunities to ask questions and find the information that is essential to begin the college process. Eighty colleges, universities, technical schools and military branches will be represented on March 19, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the WTHS Cafeteria.

This free event allows students to investigate higher education options, gather information and speak with representatives. Two Pre-College Fair meetings for parents begin at 6:00 p.m.  Topics include:

·       A college meeting for parents of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) scheduled in the WTHS Library.

·       A college meeting for parents of 11th graders, which convenes in the WTHS 2nd Floor Mezzanine area.

“Many students and parents have questions about the college admissions process. This event will start the conversation so that parents have clear guidance and information about colleges, programs and degrees,” said Superintendent Joyce Mundy.
