TNT Sets The Standard For Endurance Sports Training Program For Charity in Bucks County

Conshohocken, PA (December 18, 2013) – Energized by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS), Team In Training® (TNT) sets the standard for endurance sports training programs for charity. Certified coaches will stretch your fitness level to be ready to cross the finish line.

The Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter even has a run/walk training team right here in Bucks County. The team trains in various locations, including Tyler State Park in Newtown, Peace Valley Park in Doylestown, and Delaware Canal Path along the Delaware River.

The Bucks County training team consists of 5-certified coaches for both runners and walkers. Mike Culnan of Morrisville is the head coach. He first joined TNT in 2006 as a participant for the San Diego Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon. Over the course of the last seven years, Culnan has competed in two triathlons, five marathons, two ultra marathons, and has raised over $24,000 for LLS’s mission to cure blood cancers. He has been a coach for TNT since 2009.

“Joining Team In Training® as a participant opened up a whole new world to me – a world of running, fitness, friendships, and fundraising,” said Culnan. “I encourage anyone who has ever thought about participating in a half or full marathon, but never had the courage to follow their instance, to consider Team In Training®. It will change your life.”

Team In Training is currently recruiting for their summer season. Events include Nike Women’s Half Marathon D.C., St. Luke’s Half Marathon in Allentown, Jamestown Grand Fondo, and TriRock Philadelphia Triathlon.
