Update: Missing Warminster Dog Found and Returned to Owner

The white Samoyed named Tasha was found Thursday morning on Norristown Road near Street Road.

After two days of searching and social media alerts, a Warminster family welcomed home their missing dog Thursday morning.

A white Samoyed dog named Tasha had gone missing a few days ago from a home in the St. David's Avenue neighborhood of Warminster. The dog's owner, Ginamarie Seckinger, had just moved with her family to Warminster from Philadelphia last week. A gate was left open in her yard, giving Tasha a chance to get loose.

An article about Tasha posted to the Warminster Patch Facebook page was shared more than 30 times. Reader Michelle Wagner Busch posted Thursday morning that she saw the dog on Norristown and Street road and contacted Seckinger. Tasha returned home shortly after the phone call.
