Enjoy Victorian Hospitality at Craven Hall's Spring Tea

Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite and most elaborate hats.

Seating is still available for Craven Hall’s Spring Tea, scheduled for Sunday, April 28 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Enjoy Victorian hospitality at its finest at Nancy's Spring Tea, Sunday, April 28 at Craven Hall. Formally known as Nancy’s Spring Tea, in honor of Nancy Carver, a board member and strong supporter of Craven Hall, guests will enjoy Victorian hospitality at its finest.

Cookies, pastries, sandwiches and, of course, tea will be served in the splendor of this gracious mansion. Presentations by period-dressed guides and music will add to this lovely event. A special appearance will be made by Alice and An Eliza -- the famous Vansant sister.

The cost of the tea is $30. Historic Craven Hall, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, is located at the corner of Street and Newtown Roads. It is also the home of the John Fitch Steamboat Museum.
