Craven Hall Presents a Special Tea and Craft Time for Young Ladies and Their Dolls

Select seating is still available for Craven Hall’s Children’s Tea on Saturday, November 5th from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.  This is a special event for young ladies ages 6 to 11. Their favorite dolls are also invited!

Cookies, cupcakes, pastries, finger sandwiches (no fingers were harmed during the making of these sandwiches) pizza, fruit, ice cream, and of course, tea (of the iced variety) will be served in the splendor of this gracious mansion.  Presentations by period-dressed guides will add to this fun event.   Youngsters can design their own hat, provided by Craven Hall, to wear to the tea.   Colonial games and a craft project are also planned.

Contact Linda at 215-328-0512 or leave your name and phone number at 215-675-4698 to make a reservation.  The cost of the tea is $20 per child.  Dolls are admitted for free.

An adult must accompany all children.  Light refreshments will be served to mom or dad who must remain at Craven Hall for the duration of the tea.

Historic Craven Hall is called the best example of Greek revival architecture in mid-Bucks County.  The Craven Hall Historical Society owns this beautiful home, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.  Originally constructed around 1726, a front section was added by the Vansants during the 1840’s.  The Vansants and their Craven relatives were both prominent local families.  Craven Hall is located at the corner of Street and Newtown Roads in Warminster, PA.  It is also the home of the John Fitch Steamboat Museum, which recently opened to the public.
