Five Things: Feb. 11

A quick roundup of news and events around Warminster.

  • Ann Silverman Health Clinic at Doylestown Hospital is offering free tooth sealant for uninsured children ages 6-14 on Saturday, Feb. 19. An appointment is needed by calling the Bucks County Health Improvement Partnership Dental Program (800-347-6803).
  • Nativity’s boys basketball team will play for the league championship Sunday at Archbishop Wood against St. Joseph-St. Robert at 5 p.m.
  • Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Claude Giroux will be signing autographs ($20 per item) at the Poppel Sports Memorabilia booth at the 263 Marketplace, Saturday, 3-4 p.m.
  • Movies opening today: The Eagle (G.I. Joe and Billy Elliot clash swords), Gnomeo and Juliet (Romeo and Juliet but…with garden gnomes), Just Go With It (Adam Sandler does his thing, this time with Jennifer Aniston) and Justin Bieber: Never Say Never (Fathers, be heroes and just take your tween daughters already. Resistance is futile.)
  • This is the part where I shamelessly plug the new episode of Fringe on Fox tonight. Anybody not watching this show should have their TV privileges revoked.
