There are plenty of First Friday celebrations and football showdowns this weekend.
Remember that snow last weekend? Yeah, neither do we. Nothing but blue skies ahead, so let’s enjoy the first weekend of November!

Why go: Internationally renowned sculptor Gregory William Marra will display historic art, drawings, and sculptured pieces with a patriotic theme.

When/where: Saturday, 9 am, , 1773 Woodbourne Rd, Levittown
Why go: Come hungry, because there will be plenty of pirohi, haluski (cabbage and noodles), halubki (stuffed cabbage), kielbasi and sauerkraut, all served hot and cold to go, and home-made baked goods. And check out a variety of craft vendors from holiday items to jewelry and soaps.

Why go: The program provides a special opportunity for families to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment. The auditoriums dedicated to the program have their lights up, the sound turned down and audience members are invited to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing.

We’ve got two big ones on tap this weekend. One is steeped in tradition – while the other is relatively new - But both will fill Friday night with lots of emotion. And it will be a beautiful night for football!
