Photo Contest: Put Your Pet in a Costume

Post your cutest pictures of your pets in costume and you could win a Patch prize pack and $50.

With Halloween around the corner, some people are wondering about what they'll wear to parties.

Other people are wondering what costume to get for their pet. Those are the people we want to hear from.

We want to see those pets in costume, so post your pictures, and win $50 and a Patch prize pack. You have until Oct. 28 to upload the best photos you have.

In the caption, let us know the name of your pet and all the details about the costume. We’d also love to know where you’re from and any other information you think we should know.

Patch editors will choose our 10 favorites pictures, and then you, the reader, can vote for the winner in the comments section of an article that will be posted on Oct. 29. The winner will receive a $50 gift card and a Patch prize pack.

Had to come out of semiretirement for this one. I don’t know who is more asinine, people that dress their dogs. Or the person that put the pic of a costume clad mutt sniffing the butt of another hound. Come on a little dignity won’t kill us, will it?

Life is too short to waste looking at pictures one finds undignified. Really, semi-retirement should be spent enjoying life, don't you think? Such a kerfuffle.
