Regional Roundup: Space Available at Newtown Car Show

: The Newtown Business Association is preparing for its annual car show and registration is still available for the event. This year’s car show will be held Sunday, July 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will feature more than 170 classic autos, trucks, corvettes, street rods and sports cars in all makes and models from 1900 to 1986. : A vehicle accident along Street Road left the westbound lanes of road closed for a period of time Wednesday as began to fill the busy road. : The former White Billet Nursing Home, situated near Horsham Road - along with the Old Mill Inn and the adjacent building which houses Spa Escapeis an integral piece of a plan Wawa proposed last winter, which would involve adding a 5,102-sqaure-foot Wawa with six gas pumps in place of two of the three historic building.
