Rubber Duckies, Dog Walk, Art Show This Weekend

'FEEL THE LOVE' CONCERT

Where/when: Saint Johns United Methodist Church, 820 Almshouse Rd., Ivyland, Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

What: An evening of contemporary worship music.

TAMANEND PARK ART SHOW

Where/when: Tamenend Park, 1255 Second Street Pike, Upper Southampton, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

What: Come shop, browse, and enjoy the artwork of Just Painters, a group of local artists, in the Carriage House in Tamanend Park. 

Cost: Free to attend.

CHEERLEADING CLINIC

Where/when: William Tennent High School, 333 Centennial Rd., Warminster, Saturday from 9:15 a.m. to noon.

What: All eighth grade students are welcome to attend. There will be two shorter sessions for elementary and middle school students. Session 1 for ages 5-11 is 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., and Session 2 for ages 12-14 is 10:15-11:45 a.m. Parental supervision is required to attend this event. There will be face painting, bows and time to dance with the Tennent Panther

Cost: $5

FOURTH ANNUAL WAG & WALK FOR ALZHEIMER'S

Where/when: Warminster Community Park, 300 Veterans Circle, Warminster, Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

What: Bring your friendly dog out and take your pup on a scenic walk. Help raise money for the 2013 Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Dogs must be friendly and leashed at all times.

Cost: $10 minimum

RUBBER DUCKY REGATTA

Where/when: Kemper Park, 905 Valley Rd., Warminster, Sunday at 1 p.m.

What: Hundreds of rubber duckies will race down Neshaminy Creek at Kemper Park. Purchase ducky tickets, and you could win cash prizes.

Cost: $5 per ducky, or $20 for five.
