Take a look at what's in store in the coming week.

  • The Centennial Education Committee meets Monday night at 7 p.m. at the district's administration building, and the full board meets Tuesday night at 7 p.m. The agenda for Tuesday includes approving an agreement with Warminster Township for a "fit out" permit for the new McDonald Elementary, granting Centennial permission to begin moving equipment to the new building prior to receiving the full Use and Occupancy Certificate.
  • The school district is also hosting an informational meeting Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. in the old McDonald Elementary cafeteria for parents and community members to get updates on the transition.
  • Menchie's Frozen Yogurt is holding a fundraiser all day Tuesday to benefit the Susan G. Komen 3-Day 60 mile Walk. Twenty percent of all sales between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. will go to the non-profit.
  • Interactive story teller Don Dougherty will make books come alive at the Warminster Library Monday night, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • It's going to heat up around Warminster for the next few days, with the season's second heat wave hitting the area. Temperatures will hover in the 90s Monday through Wednesday, then the high 80s for the rest of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
