Seniors Have a Room of Their Own at the Library

Warminster Township Free Library has devoted a portion of its facility exclusively to making sure older adults enjoy reading and computing.

In recent months the Warminster Township Free Library has found a new way to help and celebrate its senior patrons.
Senior Spaces was introduced as a way to offer more to senior citizens and to make sure they have all the resources they need.
The library's entire collection of large-print books is housed in the surrounding shelves and two nice looking leather armchairs invite readers.
A computer set up in the space has a larger-than-usual keyboard that's also easier to see because it's yellow. A sign set up next to it explains that seniors are first in line to use it. Other patrons can seek other of the library's computers.
The library has also compiled a list of programs geared toward its seniors including one on geneology and another on managing financial challenges unique to older people.
Visit the library's segment of the township website for more information.
