Warminster Takes to the Streets to Honor Memorial Day

The annual Warminster Memorial Day Parade inspired reverence for our soldiers and celebration for the rights they protect.

If there's at least one thing that Warminster does well, it's throw a parade. Marching bands, fire engines and ambulances, girl and boy scout troops, motorcycle escorts, even karate demos flipped down the route, from the township to the on Louis Drive.

The bells and whistles (and handfuls of thrown candy) made for great entertainment, but the real reason for the parade were the veterans of America's wars and the recognition they richly deserve.

The festivities kicked off with a welcoming ceremony at the township building, marked by a gun salute to our fallen heroes. Flags waved and applause and cheers erupted as the soldiers walked by.
