The Doylestown at Dusk Car Show’s history dates back to 1976 when the Jay-Cees sponsored a car show that was held at Central Bucks West High School. Over the years, the car show had many sponsoring organizations until 2010 when the Doylestown Rotary Club took over and moved it to the center of Doylestown. Last year 220 cars were displayed and over 3,000 visitors attended and enjoyed the festivities.

“We’ve had some really great cars over the years,” said Bruce Rutherford, one of the organizers of the event. “One of the most memorable cars was a 1902 Curve Dash Oldsmoblile. In addition to the great cars and entertainment, the show helps out the Rotary Club and other great organizations, so people can have a good time and know that the proceeds will benefit people in the local community. ”
