Investigate Like an Expert at Franklin Institute

Franklin Institute invites you to examine the scene and solve the crime with investigators from the TV show, "CSI."

Fall can be drab, so brighten up your life by getting out of dodge. Luckily, Philadelphia isn't too far away for fall fun—and our Fall in Philly feature can help guide you there.

If you feel like venturing out a little farther from home, check here for a weekly suggestion of something fun or interesting to do in the City of Brotherly Love. Whether it's a restaurant to try, a festival to attend or special museum exhibits, we'll feature something different every Thursday.

Head to the Franklin Institute for CSI: The Experience. Everyone is invited to be a forensic crime scene investigator, examine the scene, find clues and analyze the evidence in an interactive lab to solve the crime.

As an investigator, you'll examine three crime scenes with investigators from the TV show "CSI," along with real forensic scientist and apply actual investigative techniques. You'll practice scientific disciplines such as DNA identification, toxicology, firearm and tool mark identification, blood splatter analysis and more to solve the case.
