Stephen King TV Series Features Tennent Grad

Mike Vogel has been cast in CBS' adaptation of Stephen King's 'Under the Dome.' He is also set to appear in A&E's 'Psycho' prequel.

After getting grounded by the cancellation of PanAm, ABC's throwback drama about the thriving airline industry during the 1960s, former Warminster resident and William Tennent graduate Mike Vogel is set to return to network television by joining the cast of CBS' Under the Dome, tvline.com reports

Adapted from a Stephen King novel, the series centers around a small New England town that suddenly becomes trapped under a large, clear dome. Vogel is set to play an Army veteran on a mission, according to tvline.com. The show will air in the fall.

He has also been cast as a law enforcement officer in A&E's Psycho prequel series, Bates Motel. The 10-episode series premieres on March 18 (check local listings).

Vogel was born in Abington in 1979 and raised in Warminster. After graduating from William Tennent, he modeled for Levi's before landing a recurring role on the series Grounded for Life. His film credits include PoseidonThe Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
