Township Reschedules Warminster Park Re-dedication

The park celebrates its 10-year anniversary with a rededication ceremony and touch-a-truck event.

It's been 10 years since Warminster Community Park opened to the public on the site of the former Naval Air Development Center, and township officials are determined to mark the anniversary.

Originally planned for Sept. 7, the celebration has been pushed back to Sat., Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will start with a re-dedication of the park and history walk, followed by the popular touch-a-truck, where families are invited to get behind the wheel of fire trucks, garbage trucks, police cars and more.
