Warminster Township Free Library debuted some new devices for borrowing Tuesday morning.
The library currently has 30 Playway Views available for loan to the smallest of patrons. About the size of a portable GPS unit, the new Views are filled with children's reading materials as well as some educational TV shows for the younger set.
Youth Services Librarian Katie Hansen said the new Views are a great way to get children excited about reading.
"The players are a lot of fun and they are very easy to use," said Hansen.
Adults can also check out some books on Playaway audio devices, available for loan from the library.
The borrowing policies for all of the Playway materials are the same as DVDs: there is a seven day borrowing period, with a late fee of $1 per day.
However, unlike other library materials, the Playaway materials must be borrowed directly from the Warminster Library and cannot be reserved from other libraries accross the county.
