Warminster Musician Releases New Album for Free Download

Connor Lepre has been crafting his latest project since Fall 2011 out of his home studio in Warminster.

Since to area muscians, Connor Lepre has been hard at work helping local artists produce quality singles and albums out of his Warminster home. Operating under the Rabbit Stone Studio label, Lepre and his partner, Ed Stein, have recorded and remixed for a wide range of bands, including hip hop artists The Definition and Greek Status, Bucks County's popular Jazz 4 Nothin' and vocalist Emily Gaggiano

Between the endless schedule, studio renovations and graduating from , Lepre managed to find time to continue working on his own music. Created under the name Droid Daughter, his latest effort, Aches and Tides, is now available for free download. It can either be downloaded as a complete album at Mediafire, or individual songs can be accessed at SoundCloud.

"It's my first step into bringing together my old style of music (guitars and drums) and my new style of music (electronic drums, sampling, and synthesizers)," commented Lepre in an e-mailed message to Warminster Patch. "Overall the album is a story that is very non-linear, but purposefully non-linear."

The MBIT grad says he wants the album to erase the line between alternative music and pop rock by celebrating the strengths both styles bring to the table.

"The opening track is littered with synth arpeggios and airy samples and a driving beat," writes Lepre, who also designed the album art and is already working on a follow-up. "It moves onto more tracks with rhythm heavy skeletons."
