What's the Worst Part About Going Back to School in Warminster

The first day of school is just a few weeks away. What's the toughest part about getting your kids ready to go back?

We've reached that part of the summer when parents switch from being happy to have the kids home to enjoy the vacation together, to being anxious to get them out of the house.

Of course, it's not a simple matter of sticking them on the bus and waving goodbye. There's some preparation that comes with the first day of school.

The readers on the Warminster Patch Facebook page told us what they dread most about going back to school. Here's what they had to say:

Vernae Harvey: "Clothes shopping. Teenaged girls are a nightmare!"

Colleen Guinan Apeldorn: "Waking up early"

Tom Hopkins: "Thinking about having to wear shoes."

Michelle McAllister: "How long it takes for the first day to get here! Lol! My girls are ready to go back!"

Jill Melissa: "Buying a lifetime worth of supplies!!!"

Erin Boyer: "Homework"

Laura Patrone Ingham: "The hassles of picking out clothes the night before and finding everything on the floor that was tried on in the morning when I get home. (That's after the first week when we're excited and prepared)."
