They Are Out There to Help You!

Be thankful for the hardworking people of Peco (electric) and Asplundh (tree) during the aftermath.

Hey all! I just wanted to post a special plea out there.  I understand how frustrating it can be to be stranded without power.

The men and women of PECO and ASPLUNDH are out there to help you. They are working tirelessly on 16 hour shifts.

I ask that instead of screaming at them for something they cannot control, that you treat them with respect. They are doing the best they can.

My hubby works for Asplundh, and has been working 16 hour shifts since Monday morning. Even missing our anniversary on Tuesday.

They are cold, wet, tired, away from their families, and hungry, as they only get one meal break during that shift. Have a heart, offer them a drink or sandwhich, thank them for their hardwork.

Pray they continue to work safely as there are lots of dangers they face everyday between their work and the people they encounter.
